Not sure what all the commotion is about

The app functions flawlessly. It communicates with the Roomba 980 Directly when on WIFI or through a cloud service when off network. The only time it doesnt function properly is if the Roomba is almost dead or not docked properly. I have had both the Neato and the Roomba and I prefer the design of the Roomba because of the app and the robots part replacement process. You pay for what you get with the Neato. I say Roomba all the way!
